Susan Neidert

Executive Director

Susan Neidert is the Executive Director of The Fine Arts Center.   In 1999. Susan generously donated the building and launched the center with a mission to provide a safe, positive, and artistic outlet for teens in the community, particularly those from low-income homes. Her motivation stemmed from a desire to demonstrate the power and benefits of art at any age, which is why the center promotes artistic opportunities for all—ranging from preschoolers to older adults.

Susan firmly believes that art can serve as a tool for community building, fostering connections among families, offering young mothers a creative outlet, and encouraging youth to collaborate while inspiring creativity across generations.

One of Susan’s personal passions that shaped the center is puppetry, which led her to create "The World of Puppetry Museum." She finds great joy in sharing her love for puppets and ensuring that The Fine Arts Center offers a variety of artistic experiences, from theatre and music to visual arts and puppetry. Her dedication to making the arts accessible and impactful for everyone is at the heart of everything the center does.
