Chalk Art camp

Ages 10 - 17 

June 9 - 12,  1:00 - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 9:00-4:00 pm  at Old Grist Mill 

August 3-7,  1:00 - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 9:00-4:00 pm  at Old Grist Mill

Get ready to turn the side walk into your canvas! In this 5day summer camp, students will learn the tricks and techniques of pro chalk artists. On the final day campers will create their final showcase at the Old Grist Mill.  Prepare to be amazed with what they can do with the right chalk and instruction

$80,  Includes all supplies, snacks, water, 5 days instructions, pro demos, Lunch on Friday, provided by Old Grist Mill

Puppet Mania Camp

Ages 10 -14 

Monday - Friday, June 8 - 12,  9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 

Learn fun facts about puppet history and different puppet types.  Try out a variety of puppet performance styles including ventriloquism.  Design and make your own puppet hero, help write a puppet show, make scenery and put on a show with pizzaz!  If desired put together your own show piece.  Great for beginners and experienced puppeteers alike.

Secret Agent Summer Camp

Ages 5 - 12  

June 15-18,  Mondays - Thursday  9:00 am - 2:00 pm

     Get ready for a thrilling week of mystery and adventure at Secret Agent Camp! Young spies will crack codes, solve puzzles, and complete top‑secret missions while sharpening teamwork and problem‑solving skills. It’s the perfect mix of brainpower, creativity, and excitement—an unforgettable summer adventure for every budding secret agent!  

Includes:  Crafts, Puppet making, Music, Theater, Art and Science.

Grand Us national parks adventure, America 250

Ages 5 - 12  

July 6-9,  Mondays - Thursday  9:00 am - 2:00 pm

     Dive into the nations National Parks all in one place, and learn why Utah has a special place on the list. Using art mediums, story telling and science, be inspired by what makes these places special and worth the journey by million across the world each year.  

Includes:  Crafts, Puppet making, Music, Theater, Art and Science.

Dinorific Summer Camp

Ages 5 - 12  

July 27-30,  Mondays - Thursday  9:00 am - 2:00 pm

      Stomp into adventure at Dinorific Camp, where curious minds dig into the world of dinosaurs through hands‑on STEAM fun! Campers will explore fossils, design dino habitats, and create prehistoric experiments that spark imagination and discovery. It’s a roaring good time where science, art and creativity come alive! 

Includes:  Crafts, Puppet making, Music, Theater, Art and Science.

Creative writing Class

Ages 8 - 17

July 2nd, 10th, 17th, 31st, August 7th, & 14th     10:30 - 11:30 am

(Note:  The first class will be held on Thursday, July 2nd so it will not conflict with 4th of July celebrations.  The rest of the classes are on Friday. No Class on July 24th in honor of Pioneer Day)


Taught by published author and teen,  Isabelle Thrapp
Unlock your creative writing abilities in this course with a different emphasis each day.   


Each class will consist of:

     10 minutes of journaling to get your creative juices flowing

     15 - 20 minutes of instruction

     25 - 30 minutes of writing

     5 - 10 minutes of sharing


Week 1:  Intro and Mood,  Learn how to create the mood of a book

Week 2:  Juicy character Diving!  Learn how to describe your characters better

Week 3:  Point of View.  Learn about the different kinds of narrators & write a story from a                               

                     new perspective.

Week 4:  Genre Study.  Write in a genre you haven't tried before.

Week 5:  Revision Day!  Help revise others work and learn to use critiques.

Week 6:  Story Chain Day.  Everyone will start a story and then pass it on.  At the end, we will see where 

                    our stories went. 


Bring your good ideas!  The pencils and notebooks will be provided.
