As part of our new system, classes at The Fine Arts Center will now be billed monthly! This new setup makes it easier and more affordable for families to participate by spreading payments out instead of paying everything up front.
Payments can be set to automatically come out of your account or credit card each month—no need to remember due dates!
We are moving to longer running classes to give your child an opportunity to be creative for the whole semester. This will also allow for easier scheduling for parents.

Step into the spotlight and bring stories to life—one puppet at a time! In this imaginative and hands-on class, students will explore the enchanting world of puppetry and theater. They’ll learn performance skills like character voices, expressive movement, and storytelling basics, all while building confidence on (and behind!) the stage.
But the magic doesn’t stop there—each student will design and create their very own handmade puppet, crafted from their own ideas and creativity. By the end of the class, their puppet will have a personality, a story, and a stage to shine on!
Perfect for creative thinkers, future performers, and anyone who loves art, theater, and a little bit of magic.

Beginning Art: Explore & Discover – Extended Session
One registration = two creative art adventures!
This semester, our Beginning Art classes are combining into one longer, exciting session—giving students twice the creativity and twice the fun! When you sign up, your child will experience BOTH of our popular classes:
Art Exploration (January 13 – March 3)
Students will dive into a world of creativity as they experiment with drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. Each week introduces a new art material or technique, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and hands-on discovery.
Art Around the World (March 10 – May 5)
Next, students will embark on a global art adventure—exploring artistic traditions from different cultures. From African masks to Indian printmaking, young artists will learn new techniques while creating meaningful, culturally inspired artwork.
Why the combined format?
By extending the session, students enjoy a more complete and enriching art experience, building skills, creativity, and appreciation for art from both local and global perspectives. This will also allow for easier scheduling for parents.
Instructor: Linda Lowe
Grades 4–7
Mondays • 4:00–5:30 pm • January 12 – April 27
4 payments of $35, all materials included
Intermediate Art: Painting & Sculpture
One registration = two full art experiences!
This season, we’re combining our Youth Painting and Youth Sculpture classes into one longer, creativity-packed session—giving students the best of both worlds! When you sign up, your young artist will enjoy:
Youth Painting (January 12 – March 2)
Dive into color, creativity, and technique! Students will explore acrylic, watercolor, and oil paints while learning color mixing, composition, shading, and brushwork. Each project helps strengthen artistic skills and encourages personal style and confidence.
Youth Sculpture (March 9 – April 27)
Next, students shift from the canvas to 3D creations. They’ll design and build sculptures using materials like air-dry clay, papier-mâché, wire, wood, and found objects. From imaginative creatures to abstract art, this class is all about creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on fun.
Why this combined format?
By enrolling in this longer session, students get both classes—more time to create, explore, and grow as artists in both painting and sculpture. This will also allow for easier scheduling for parents.
